We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and improving our environmental performance as part of our ISO14001 certified environmental management systems. The areas which we are specifically targeting include energy efficiency, transport, packaging and supply chain.
We encourage all our clients to take as many green initiatives as possible and now operate a comprehensive office furniture waste collection & recycling service.
This includes:
- Removal of all packaging after installation of new furniture
- Free site survey and appraisal of old furniture for recycling
- Competitive rates for removal, break-down and recycling
- Full certified audit trail
- Removal of WEEE items
We source all of our furniture products from reputable, eco-responsible manufacturers. Many are outstanding achievers in the environmental field and the majority of products are manufactured in the United Kingdom.
Egan Reid is also one of the first office furniture resellers to become a member of the Furniture Industry Sustainability Programme (FISP), the trade's premier forum on environmental and quality matters.
