The brief
For this office, reception & boardroom project, the Client’s brief reflected their vision for a design led but practical workspace, with a showpiece white reception desk unit contrasting with the dark flooring as their key requirement.
The solution
Egan Reid sourced the bespoke off-white reception desk from an Italian manufacturer, with the shape & finish providing the striking design specified in the brief and the final colour choice offering more ease of maintenance & a more lasting surface than the pure white finish initially preferred.
For the fully equipped boardroom including video-conferencing facility, Egan Reid again recommended an exclusive design, with a unique table in bamboo veneer & polished glass inlay. Bamboo, an increasingly popular choice, was selected for its look & sustainability. The length of the table meant that the wood grain needed to be run along the width of the table, creating a completely personalised piece.
